The arrival of the Dutch coach Guus Hiddink appears to have brought a spark of life back to Chelsea as the Premier League club has managed to collect points in every single game since Hiddink arrived to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea still has a load of problems that they have to deal with in order for them to have any chance of getting back into the top spots of the Premier League but this is a slow progression which takes time.
When Guus Hiddink was appointed as the new head coach of Chelsea, the Dutch coach penned a 6 month long deal but depending on the results that the Premier League club is able to get in this period, he might be offered a longer and more permanent deal.
There are however, some issues that continue to burden Chelsea and this is in relation to the performances that some of their players have been demonstrating in this season. Oscar, Nemanja Matic, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas used to be the star performers of the English club in the previous seasons but they have dropped significantly their form and this is a huge blow for Guus Hiddink who is still trying to find a way to spark them back to life.
The Brazilian midfielder Oscar is considered to be one of the most talented players in Europe but his underwhelming performances have led to him on being rumored of leaving Stamford Bridge with PSG being a possible destination for the Brazilian midfielder.
The January transfer window recently opened up and there are a number of clubs that have shown interest in signing Oscar as well as other players in the squad of Guus Hiddink and taking into consideration just how disastrously this season has been going for the Premier League club, there might be a few transfers that could be completed within the upcoming few weeks.
It would be in the best interest of Chelsea, if they are able to keep hold of their high profile and star players for a few more years but if the players themselves are unsatisfied with how things are going in the English club and they want to leave, then Chelsea will have to start searching around for other well-known stars who can fill in the spot left.
